A co-authored paper at the former affiliation (University of Tokyo) was published in Angewandte Chemie. In this paper, we created an Ubiquitin-based agonist molecule that promotes dimerization of the HGF receptor MET. MET-binding peptide were genetically introduced into polyubiquitin by a cyclic peptide grafting technique (Lasso Grafting). This research is a collaborative research with Dr. Matsumoto's group at the Cancer Research Institute, Kanazawa University. Dr. Terasaka was in charge of mRNA display and experimental design of protein expression.
