PhD in the Department of Chemistry, Graduate School of Science, the University of Tokyo in 2015. 2012-2015 Research Fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (DC1). 2015-2018 Postdoctoral fellow at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH Zurich). 2015-2018 Human Frontier Science Program (HFSP) Long-term Fellow. After working as a specially appointed assistant professor and assistant professor at the Graduate School of Science, the University of Tokyo in 2018-2022, current position since June 2022. He has also served as a PRESTO researcher (2021-2024) and FOREST researcher (2025-present) at the Japan Science and Technology Agency in 2021-2024.
